Just terrific. Imagine walking around in 100 degree weather. All of a sudden you see a nice seating area where you can sit under a sea of umbrellas to get away from the sun, to smell some fresh air, people watch and have an iced coffee to boot. Well, you found it. Scan a bar code on your table, which takes you to a menu, and in a little bit a friendly server comes by to bring your meal. Once you finish, take a nice stroll up or down the park and enjoy the rest of your day

We first came to Pier I Cafe on our anniversary nearly a decade ago, and coming back this year for the 4th of July was every bit as special as we remembered — maybe even more so. Walking in, it felt like stepping back into that same warm memory, but with new ones layered right on top of it. We timed our visit perfectly to catch the fireworks from the pier, and watching the sky light up over the water while enjoying dinner here was unforgettable. There’s really nothing like celebrating both a holiday and an anniversary in the same place where it all started. What we appreciated just as much this time around was how family-oriented the area is. It’s clearly a spot where people bring their kids and grandparents alike, and it felt genuinely secure and well looked after the whole time we were there — easy to relax and just enjoy the evening without worrying about anything. Ten years later, Pier I Cafe still delivers that same combination of great food, a beautiful setting, and a real sense of community. We’re already looking forward to our next visit — hopefully we won’t wait another decade!

Great place I found by accident. Walking down the park this is such a wonderful spot to take a load off, spend a bit of time to just relax, have a coffee and something to eat. You order by scanning a bar code on your table and a very little time later our friendly server brought our meal. The view of the river, boats floating by, an iced coffee in hand is certainly well deserving a 5 star for this cafe.

Our favorite local hangout. Beautiful views, great food and service. Held a private event here recently as well - they have so many options and are very flexible. The staff was extremely helpful, they went above and beyond, everyone had a great time!
